THE END MAY COME SUDDENLY

 Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria experienced a sudden explosion that caused some people to lose their lives unprepared. According to the Scripture, Christ will come back without any prior notice, just like a thief in the night. You might be pondering that it's been a long time since people talked about His second coming, but He hasn't made an appearance yet. In the event of your sudden death, do you have a chance of eternity in heaven? Can you boast that your final destination won't be a place of torment? Jesus came into this world to give you life and make it more abundant (John 10:10). God sent Him to make it possible for anyone who believes in Him to have eternal life (John 3:16). Nothing you acquire in this world can compare to the eternity in heaven. What's the benefit of gaining the whole world but losing your soul? (Mark 8:36).

 Don't be caught napping. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior today and secure your eternal home.

God made many promises to us, but we need to ask and remind Him of them. You should realize that God never forgets, asking indicates our trust in Him and His ability to fulfill His promises.  The last verse of the chapter says ‘Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true’

FREE INDEED

 Upon arrival at the site, I noticed a dove tied down by one of my employees. When I requested its release, he stated his intention to sell it. After asking for the price, he informed me, and I asked him to release the bird, which he did, and then I paid for it.  The Scripture says “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” Romans 5:6. By paying the price with his precious blood, Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be set free and welcome into God's family. Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”  Our new status as His slaves necessitates us to do His pleasure and avoid taking things for granted. Romans 6:22 say “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life”.  We are free from condemnation
