MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD

To manifest means to make evident or certain by showing or displaying.

Romans 8:19  says ‘For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God’. It was at Antioch that the believers were first called Christians. According to Acts 11:26, the people observed Christ through their actions, words, manners, and so on. I believe that Christianity is a lifestyle, not just a religious practice. To be considered His son, we must follow the way Jesus lived and adhere to the scriptures.
DOING GOOD, AND HEALING PEOPLE: Acts of the Apostles 10:38 ‘And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him’. It's our responsibility to do good and heal people, and we must remember that it's impossible without the Holy Spirit and power that can only be given by God.
LOVING YOUR ENEMIES: Luke 23:34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. Luke 6:35 “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. Our Father desires for us to pay back good for evil, even though it may not be easy.
COMPASSIONATE: Matthew 14:14 ‘Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick’.
Matthew 9:36 ‘When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd’. Being compassionate and merciful towards people is necessary to be revealed as His son. The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) should not be forgotten.
Don’t ever think that this is not possible, for the scripture says in John 14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father”. If we have faith and trust in Him, we can accomplish more. People will come to Christ Jesus because they have seen Him in us. Without preaching, our lives have saved people from the highway to hell and the kingdom of God.
