THE HIJACKED LIFE

The 9/11 attack, where two planes were hijacked and flown into the North and South Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in both towers collapsing, remains one of the unforgettable occurrences in the world.

The attack was not planned by the original pilot of the plane, but it happened because some terrorist hijacked the plane from them.

The Scripture mentions a demon-possessed man who lived in a tomb in Gadarenes. Despite being naked and unable to be held by a chain or shackles, it was discovered that an army of unclean spirits was inhabiting him. They are the ones controlling his life. They've hijacked it from him and make him do whatever they want. After Jesus removed them from his life, the man became still and free and began spreading the Gospel of the Lord (Luke 8:26-39).

Most of us are living a life that we don't want or like to live, but we can't control it. It's because our life has been hijacked by the devil or his agent in human form. We have an inclination to do the right thing, but we have found ourselves doing the wrong thing.  Apostle Paul said in Romans 7:15 “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate”. Romans 7:24-25 “Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.

Only Jesus can save and deliver you from this life-hijacker. The only thing you need to do is surrender your life to Him. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, as He came into the world to protect us from the thief (devil) who has the goal of stealing, killing, and destroying us. But Jesus came to provide us with abundant life (John 10:10). Allow Him to deliver you today. Dedicate yourself to Him. Allow Him to take charge. Allow Him to guide you. He has a good purpose and plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11), so you can begin fulfilling your purpose similar to the man who was released from his demons.

  1. Your message is a potent reminder that our struggles are not just internal or external but also spiritual. It's a call to recognize the enemy's tactics and turn to Jesus for deliverance and redemption. Well done!
