GO IN THAT STRENGTH THAT YOU HAVE

 ‘Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”“But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” Judges 6:14-15.

Most of us are asking the same question as Gideon: How can I do exploits when I am so small and limited in power? How can I make an impact when I have a poor background? It's important for you to recognize that with God by your side, anything is possible. All you just have to do is to be willing, obedient, and trust in Almighty God, for without Him you can do nothing (John 15:5). Even four lepers were used to put a host of army into flight and put an end to the famine in Samaria (2 Kings 7:1-20), just because they took that bold step.

Don't belittle yourself, your family background, or the resources at your disposal this year. Just believe in God, be obedient, have confidence in yourself, and take that bold step believing that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).

But remember, God cannot go with you if you are not one of His own. The reason you have to give your life to Christ Jesus, who is the only way to God the Father. Jesus answered, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.' No one comes to the Father except through me’ John 14:6. He was sent to the world for that particular purpose. Accept Him today and see how your little strength will be magnified through Him.

  The 9/11 attack, where two planes were hijacked and flown into the North and South Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in both towers collapsing, remains one of the unforgettable occurrences in the world.   The attack was not planned by the original pilot of the plane, but it happened because some terrorist hijacked the plane from them. The Scripture mentions a demon-possessed man who lived in a tomb in Gadarenes.  I was reading about the victims of the event where all 67 people aboard an American Eagle flight from Kansas and an Army helicopter were killed in a collision over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday, January 29. Among those are children with great futures, wonderful families, one just engaged to be married, and one just promoted in their job.
