SAVED FOR A PURPOSE (PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP)

In the speech of President Donald Trump after being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, he said that he believed that God saved his life to make America great again. It's worth remembering that On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump, survived an assassination attempt while speaking at an open-air campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was shot and wounded in his upper right ear by Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, who fired eight rounds from an AR-15–style rifle from the roof of a nearby building.

Several of us have been saved from accidents and events that killed others. Some have shared their testimony in religious gatherings and social media, but have not inquired with God about why they were preserved.

Moses was born during the time when the Hebrew newborn baby boys were being killed in Egypt, but he was miraculously saved and raised in the palace of king Pharaoh, the arch enemy (Exodus 2:1-10). Moses ended up being the deliverer of the Israelites from slavery (Hosea 12:13).  What about our Lord Jesus Christ? Upon his birth, King Herod decreed the death of newborns aged two and under. However, Jesus was saved (Matthew 2:1-23) and became the Savior of the world (1 John 4:4), serving as a mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:5). Although John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus, fell into this age bracket of killing, he was saved, but the way he was saved is not documented in the Bible.

God told Jeremiah, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations. ” Jeremiah 1:5.

Before He sent you to this world, God knew you and has a purpose for you, which you must fulfill because there are many people who are attached to it. Imagine if Jesus had refused to die for our sins, the presence of God would have been taboo for us.

Ask God today for your purpose if you are not yet aware of it, and if you are certain of it, ask Him for the grace to fulfill it.  But remember, you can't ask Him if you don't know or have a relationship with Him. The reason you must give your life to Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior is because He came into the world for this purpose. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit’ 1 Peter 3:18. When you become His son, you will have the freedom to ask Him anything until your joy is complete (John 16:24)
