THE FINGER OF GOD 2

 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God’ Exodus 31:18.

We can all see through this passage that God has written the commandments by His own finger, which shows us how important it is. The command of God is meant to help us live in harmony with Him and live in peace with ourselves on earth. The psalmist says ‘Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You’ Psalms 119:11 Also verses 14-16 says ‘I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word’.
Keeping the commandments of God comes with many benefits some are found in Psalm 119:97-100 ‘Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide. Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws. I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments’. 
God’s word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our paths (Psalm 119:105). Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John 8:12 
Would you prefer to walk in the light instead of the darkness? Do you desire to be more wise than your elders and smarter than your teachers? It is important to come to Christ today and acknowledge Him as your Lord and savior. The Scripture says ‘And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting…’ (Romans 1:28-32). Accept Christ today and don't let it be written that you are part of those people who God has lost hope for.

  The 9/11 attack, where two planes were hijacked and flown into the North and South Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in both towers collapsing, remains one of the unforgettable occurrences in the world.   The attack was not planned by the original pilot of the plane, but it happened because some terrorist hijacked the plane from them. The Scripture mentions a demon-possessed man who lived in a tomb in Gadarenes. Despite being naked and unable to be held by a chain or shackles, it was discovered that an army of unclean spirits was inhabiting him. They are the ones controlling his life.  I was reading about the victims of the event where all 67 people aboard an American Eagle flight from Kansas and an Army helicopter were killed in a collision over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday, January 29. Among those are children with great futures, wonderful families, one just engaged to be married, and one just promoted in their job.
