THE FINGER OF GOD
‘So Moses and Aaron did just as the lord had commanded them. When Aaron raised his hand and struck the ground with his staff, gnats infested the entire land, covering the Egyptians and their animals. All the dust in the land of Egypt turned into gnats.Pharaoh’s magicians tried to do the same thing with their secret arts, but this time they failed. And the gnats covered everyone, people and animals alike.“This is the finger of God!” the magicians exclaimed to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. He wouldn’t listen to them, just as the lord had predicted’ Exodus 8:17-19.
After being unable to duplicate it, the magician acknowledged it as the finger of God. This is a discussion about divine intervention. Remember Peter who toilled all night and Jesus Christ ordered him to cast his net in the early hours of the day, and he got a net-breaking miracle (Luke 5:4-7). Also, in the middle of the sea, God threw the host of Egyptians into chaos when He twisted their chariot wheels, making them difficult to drive. Pharaoh yelled, 'Let's leave here, away from the Israelites!' The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.' (Exodus 14:24-26). There is a difference between doing things on your own and when God is backing you up. Most of us rely on our own power, wisdom, knowledge, and skill to venture into something, or sometimes we rely on the support of others. However, we must remember that curses are reserved for those who put their trust in men (Jeremiah 17:5).
I pray that God will intervene in your situation and all of your activities this year in the name of Jesus. When He intervenes, people will recognize the distinction between your output and theirs, and they will praise your God. Is it possible for God to intervene in your situation when He doesn't have any knowledge of you? To have Him act on your behalf, you need to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Come to Jesus today. He was hanged on the cross just to redeem you (Matthew 27:32-56).
That's true. God's intervention in our lives makes all the difference. Reminders like this are good medicine for the heart, and must drive everyone closer to God
