HAVE HOPE AND NEVER GIVE UP

 When Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors lost to the second-seed Houston Rockets in game six of the NBA 2024/2025 playoff series, tying the scores at 3-3, Canon, his son, was down in tears. However, Steph said, 'Hey, we still have a game on Sunday, buddy'. The Golden State Warriors advanced to the second round after winning 103-89 on Sunday. 

Never give up and never say never, that's the spirit. The scripture says that the righteous may fall seven times, but they will rise up again (Proverbs 24:16). In Judges 20, the scripture states that the children of Israel were defeated three times before God gave them the victory in their fourth attempt against the tribe of Benjamin.

God is always there for you when you trust and believe in Him, and you must also have the confidence that you can do it with God's help.  But the concluding part of Proverbs 24:16 says 'But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked. Are you a righteous person? Are you living a life that honors God? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and saviour? If you don't have a positive answer to these questions, it's time to turn to Christ and recognize Him as the Lord of your life. For that reason, He came into this world (John 3:16, 1 John 3:5). Accepting Him today means being clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and even if you may fall, you will always rise again.

  At least 290 people lost their lives after a passenger plane crashed while departing from an airport in Ahmedabad, India, according to health officials. The plane, en route to London, hit a hostel for doctors when it crashed. The number of deaths is a mix of those on the plane and those on the ground. In accordance with the report, the plane involved, which was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, is among the safest.   The plane was full of individuals with plans for the future, and their families and loved ones were waiting for them. What about the doctors who were in the hostel when the aircraft crashed?  I was reading about the victims of the event where all 67 people aboard an American Eagle flight from Kansas and an Army helicopter were killed in a collision over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday, January 29. Among those are children with great futures, wonderful families, one just engaged to be married, and one just promoted in their job. Before the unimaginable happened, a passenger called her partner and assured her that he would meet her in a few minutes.  You may be joking about it or taking it not seriously when you hear about the second coming of the Lord, or saying that Jesus can't come now.
