BLOOD TRANSFUSION
Medical procedures called blood transfusions involve delivering donated blood or blood components to a patient's bloodstream. These are used to restore blood volume, replace blood components that have been lost through injury or surgery, and treat specific medical conditions that affect blood and its components. Jesus Christ, by shedding His blood for us when He died, made it available for all who believe in Him. Luke 22:20 says ‘After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you’. Eternal life was made available to us by His blood consumption, which is a type of blood transfusion. The blood of Jesus in us eradicates all the sinful activities in our lives, making us righteous before God ( John 6:53-56 ).
