HAVE HOPE AND NEVER GIVE UP (2)
‘Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised' Hebrews 10:35-36
The 2024/25 season will be remembered as the year when numerous teams across Europe finally achieved their goal of winning silverware. PSG has just been added to the list, but other teams such as Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane have already added trophies to their cabinets. Tottenham Hotspur won a close 1-0 contest over Manchester United FC in the premier league as Brennan Johnson scored the winner to end their 17-year search for silverware. Crystal Palace FC triumphed in their first trophy for 120 years after defeating Manchester City FC in the FA Cup final. For the first time since 1955, Newcastle United won a major domestic trophy by defeating Premier League champions Liverpool 2-1 in the EFL Cup final. One of the longest search for European glory is over as Paris Saint-Germain's victory in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history. Before the final at Allianz Arena on Saturday, May 31st, the French team had not had any European success since being established in 1970. Harry Kane won the major trophy after a dominant Bundesliga campaign that saw him top the goal scoring charts with 26 strikes. Bayern returned to the German league title from Bayer Leverkusen, which ended Bayern's streak of 11 consecutive Bundesliga titles last season.
God is always there for you if you don't give up and keep trusting and believing in Him. Persevere, put in even more effort, never give up, and in due time, God will give you victory. In order for God to be there for you, it requires you to be on His side. Go to Him today by accepting Christ as your Lord and Saviour (John 3:16, 1 John 3:5) and let Him stand by you and bring you into victory.
Remember, 'you can do all things through Christ who strengthen you’ Philipians 4:13
