GOD CAN USE ANYONE

 When the Israelites destroyed the city of Jericho, God used Rahab, the harlot, to liberate her family. This incident is an indication that God can use anybody for you (Joshua 6:17,23). What about Jephta the outlaw, he was an Israelite judge, he delivered them from the Ammonites (Judges 11). God also chooses Solomon the son of Bathsheba, that King David murdered her husband (Uriah) and married to be the king of Israel (1 Kings 1:30) God is empowered to choose and use anyone. Don't ever consider yourself unqualified because God has qualified the unqualified. He does whatever he wants and nobody can ask him why (Psalm 115:3).    

There was a thing that was common to these people, they knew God and had faith in Him (Judges 11:35, Joshua 2:8-11, 1 Kings 3:3).
Do you know Him in the person of Jesus Christ? If not, today is your day, He has been waiting for you. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior today.

Then the leaders of the tribe of Levi came to consult with Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders of the other tribes of Israel. They came to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said, “The lord commanded Moses to give us towns to live in and pasturelands for our livestock.” So by the command of the lord the people of Israel gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own grants of land. (Joshua 21:1-3)  Despite the Lord's command that lands should be given to the tribe of Levy, they have the responsibility of asking again and reminding the leaders of what God had instructed. God made many promises to us, but we need to ask and remind Him of them. You should realize that God never forgets, asking indicates our trust in Him and His ability to fulfill His promises.  The last verse of the chapter says ‘Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true’

FREE INDEED

 Upon arrival at the site, I noticed a dove tied down by one of my employees. When I requested its release, he stated his intention to sell it. After asking for the price, he informed me, and I asked him to release the bird, which he did, and then I paid for it.  The Scripture says “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” Romans 5:6. By paying the price with his precious blood, Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be set free and welcome into God's family. Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”  Our new status as His slaves necessitates us to do His pleasure and avoid taking things for granted. Romans 6:22 say “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life”.  We are free from condemnation
