DON’T LOSE HOPE

‘Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot— yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root.’  Isaiah 11:1

Stump is the part of a plant and especially a tree remaining attached to the root after the trunk is cut.

The Scripture also says in Job 14:7-9 “Even a tree has more hope!  If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. Though its roots have grown old in the earth and its stump decays,
at the scent of water it will bud and sprout again like a new seedling.”
These Bible chapters merely tell you that you should not give up hope,  regardless of your condition or circumstances, but you just have to believe in God and wait on Him.
‘The water’ talking about in verses 9 of Job chapter 14 is the Spirit of God. If the Spirit of God is introduced into the dead situation, it will certainly come to life.  The breath of God is life as can be confirmed by Genesis 2:7  ‘Then the lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.’
If God can grow a shoot out of the stump and a new limb carrying the fruit of the old root. He can bring the beauty out of your ashes. Don’t lose hope but just believe in Him.
