HAVING A GREAT YEAR 2024

 If you're going somewhere new and don't know the route, it's wise to ask someone who is familiar with the place and its routes for directions.

God the creator is the only one who knows this year better than anyone else. He knows the end before the beginning and has the knowledge of all that will happen in this year. To avoid groping in the dark or guessing, the best option is to ask God. 

The Scripture says “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track”. Proverbs 3:4-5 (MSG).

In the scripture above, trust is the most important thing. It's important to have trust and faith in God before you can ask or trust the information.

Trust and believe in God this year. Do not believe in your own power and wisdom, and you will discover how easy it is to navigate through the year with God's guidance.

ASK

Then the leaders of the tribe of Levi came to consult with Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders of the other tribes of Israel. They came to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said, “The lord commanded Moses to give us towns to live in and pasturelands for our livestock.” So by the command of the lord the people of Israel gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own grants of land. (Joshua 21:1-3)  Despite the Lord's command that lands should be given to the tribe of Levy, they have the responsibility of asking again and reminding the leaders of what God had instructed. God made many promises to us, but we need to ask and remind Him of them. You should realize that God never forgets, asking indicates our trust in Him and His ability to fulfill His promises.  The last verse of the chapter says ‘Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true’

FREE INDEED

 Upon arrival at the site, I noticed a dove tied down by one of my employees. When I requested its release, he stated his intention to sell it. After asking for the price, he informed me, and I asked him to release the bird, which he did, and then I paid for it.  The Scripture says “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” Romans 5:6. By paying the price with his precious blood, Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be set free and welcome into God's family. Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”  Our new status as His slaves necessitates us to do His pleasure and avoid taking things for granted. Romans 6:22 say “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life”.  We are free from condemnation
