THE BREATH OF LIFE

 The fact that humans are nothing but soil or images without the breath of life, which is only granted by God, means that when the breath is taken away, man's stay in the land of the living comes to an end. 

Without God's Spirit, one is nothing but a walking corpse, as His breath is the sole source of life. If you don't have God's Spirit in you, you can't say you know Him or belong to Him. Roman 8:14 states that those who have the Spirit of God in them are considered children of God. Without His life or Spirit in you, it's impossible to perform exploits for God. Peter, who denied Jesus before a little girl (Matthew 26:69-72) was able to preach Jesus to the crowd and win three thousand souls to the kingdom of God (Acts 2:14-41). 

If you want to have God's Spirit in you, you need to let Christ enter your heart. Even though He was born because of you (John 3:16), you still need to give up your life to Him. Remember that eternal life is only possible through Him, and without His Spirit, man is only a living corpse.

Then the leaders of the tribe of Levi came to consult with Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders of the other tribes of Israel. They came to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said, “The lord commanded Moses to give us towns to live in and pasturelands for our livestock.” So by the command of the lord the people of Israel gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own grants of land. (Joshua 21:1-3)  Despite the Lord's command that lands should be given to the tribe of Levy, they have the responsibility of asking again and reminding the leaders of what God had instructed. God made many promises to us, but we need to ask and remind Him of them. You should realize that God never forgets, asking indicates our trust in Him and His ability to fulfill His promises.  The last verse of the chapter says ‘Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true’

FREE INDEED

 Upon arrival at the site, I noticed a dove tied down by one of my employees. When I requested its release, he stated his intention to sell it. After asking for the price, he informed me, and I asked him to release the bird, which he did, and then I paid for it.  The Scripture says “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” Romans 5:6. By paying the price with his precious blood, Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be set free and welcome into God's family. Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”  Our new status as His slaves necessitates us to do His pleasure and avoid taking things for granted. Romans 6:22 say “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life”.  We are free from condemnation
