TIME AND CHANCE (2024 FA CUP FINAL)

This year's 2024 FA Cup final match at Wembley stadium between Manchester United FC and Manchester City FC will stay with football fans, especially in England, for a long time. The Manchester Reds were never considered for the cup by many people and football pundits due to their slothful performance during the season. Despite the expectations of a massacre from Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC prevailed over the favorites who had already been crowned the 2023/2024 premier league champion.

The Scriptures also says “We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall”. Proverbs 16:33 (NLT). I'm not saying that you shouldn't plan, prepare, and do your homework well, but you shouldn't be too certain that you'll remove God from the equation. God sits in heaven and does whatever He likes, and no one dares ask Him why (Psalm 115:3). He has complete control over the outcome of everything. After you have done your part, simply pray to Him for His favor. And remember, this can't be done except if you are His child. If He is yet to know you, just go to Him today. He has been waiting for you since, the reason why He sent His only Son in person, Jesus Christ, to die for your sin. All you have to do is believe and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. (Romans 10:19)

 Upon arrival at the site, I noticed a dove tied down by one of my employees. When I requested its release, he stated his intention to sell it. After asking for the price, he informed me, and I asked him to release the bird, which he did, and then I paid for it.  The Scripture says “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” Romans 5:6. By paying the price with his precious blood, Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be set free and welcome into God's family. Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”  Our new status as His slaves necessitates us to do His pleasure and avoid taking things for granted. Romans 6:22 say “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life”.  We are free from condemnation

Coronavirus which came from Wuhan a city in China has killed many throughout the world by now.  The disease that the virus causes has been named COVID-19, which stands for coronavirus disease 2019. Efforts are being made so as to produce a vaccine that can conquer this terrible virus.
