DON’T FALL FOR DEVIL’S ILLUSION

In the movie 'Black Adam', Hawkman (Aldis Hodge) realized that Teth-Adam (Dwayne Johnson) was too strong for him. He called Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan) to create an illusion for Teth-Adam. Teth-Adam became distracted upon seeing his past, and Hawkman was able to hit him.

An illusion is defined as an image that is misleading to the eyes or something that deceives or misleads intellectually.

We all have a past and strive for a better future, which necessitates focus, hard work, and confidence in the Lord. Without Him, there is no possibility of accomplishment. ‘We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.’ (Proverb 16:9). Also Proverbs 3:5-6 says ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

The Devil will likely come to distract us, demonstrating the world and promising things that are not his property. The only means of overcoming this is through the Word of God. Remember when he tempted our Lord Jesus Christ in the wilderness, all the answer Christ gave him was from the scripture 'it's written' (Mattheww 4:1-11). But how can you use the Word when it's not in you? The scriptures say, 'Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth' (2 Timothy 2:15). The deception of many so-called Christians has not stopped just because they are ignorant of what the Bible says.

Study the Word of God, trust in Him, and keep focused, and don't succumb to the devil's illusion. God's guidance will lead you to your desired destination. It's important to remember that only those who are in Jesus can have power over the devil. By accepting Him into your life today, you'll receive dominion over the devil, and most importantly, eternal life. (John 3:16).
