YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS

 When God was creating the world, when it came to man's turn, He created man in His image and likeness. The scriptures say, 'Then God said, ' Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us'. Genesis 1:26. He has made it possible for him to have power and authority over everything. Take notice in the passage that God didn't only create man in His image but also in His likeness, meaning that He gave him the capacity to act and behave just like Himself. God's support is what makes it possible for us to achieve and be whatever we want to be. We can all see all the creations and inventions of man today, and this is possible because God has given us the ability to create. LeBron James, the recognized basketball player from Little Akron, Ohio in the United States, became the first player in NBA history to score 50,000 combined points, a feat that basketball experts never thought was possible. 

The scriptures say that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Don't let others discourage you. When little David decided to fight Goliath, his brothers were the first to discouraged him. King Saul replied, 'Don't be ridiculous!' There's no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win! You’re only a boy, and he’s been a man of war from his youth.” 1 Samuel 17:33. But all is now history. God gave David victory over Goliath in 1 Samuel 17. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline’. According to 2 Timothy 1:7. God will make you succeed if you put your trust in Him and keep doing what you put your hand on with all your might. Remember that if you want to do anything in Christ, you must first be in Him. If He isn't your Lord yet, please accept Him today and let Him make you a champion and grant you eternal life. 

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  --John 3:16

 I was reading about the victims of the event where all 67 people aboard an American Eagle flight from Kansas and an Army helicopter were killed in a collision over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday, January 29. Among those are children with great futures, wonderful families, one just engaged to be married, and one just promoted in their job.   The 9/11 attack, where two planes were hijacked and flown into the North and South Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in both towers collapsing, remains one of the unforgettable occurrences in the world.   The attack was not planned by the original pilot of the plane, but it happened because some terrorist hijacked the plane from them. The Scripture mentions a demon-possessed man who lived in a tomb in Gadarenes. Despite being naked and unable to be held by a chain or shackles, it was discovered that an army of unclean spirits was inhabiting him. They are the ones controlling his life.
