BLOOD TRANSFUSION 2 (THE SIGNIFICANCE OF JESUS’S BLOOD FOR YOU)

Having Jesus in your life and believing and trusting in His blood brings you many benefits, which some are listed below.

You have been forgiven for all of your sins.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7.

You have been justified and saved from God's wrath.

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him”Romans 5:9.

You are being spiritually and physically healed; one day, even your flesh will be replaced with an incorruptible body.

“…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sin, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” I Peter 2:24.

Spiritually, you are alive.

“Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” John 6:53.

You have been cleansed.

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I John 1:7.

You have triumphed over the enemy. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11.

Deliverance from the law's curse. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree” Galatians 3:13.

You have become a part of the covenant of promise.

“…that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:12-13.

God's unmerited favor is granted to you.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Ephesians 1:7.

Your righteousness has been declared.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

It enhances your connection with God.

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:13).

You are no longer under condemnation.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” Romans 8:1.

It separates you from the world and sanctifies you to God.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” Galatians 2:20.

You have the privilege of entering the Holiest with boldness. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water” Hebrews 10:19-22.

It set you free.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” Galatians 5:1.

It's hard to find anything that compares to Christ and His blood, as you can see. Accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour is a wise decision if you haven't made it yet. Enjoying all these benefits and eternal life with Him after this world can be yours too.
