YOU WERE CREATED FOR SUCCESS

‘Wherever you set foot, that land will be yours’ Deuteronomy 11:24.

Joseph's brothers sold him to slavery (Genesis 37:26-28). In the house of Potiphar, he was so successful as a servant that even his boss noticed it and put him in charge of all his household and all his belongings. God started blessing him because of Joseph (Genesis 39:2-6). Despite his imprisonment, he was successful because God was with him and made him a favorite with the warden, who assigned him the responsibility of supervising other prisoners and overseeing the prison's operations (Genesis 39:21-23).

The plan of God for you is for you to be successful, regardless of where you are or where you find yourself. It is important to note that Joseph became a prime minister in a foreign country (Genesis 41:41-44), but it was only made possible by the Lord's presence. Is the presence of God with you wherever you go? Is your current location part of God's plan for you? Do you trust Him enough to ask for His guidance before taking any action? The Scriptures say ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take’ Proverbs 3:5-6. When it's in God's plan for you, His presence will always be with you. He has promised not to leave or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6), and nobody and nothing shall be able to stop you from being successful.

But how will you ask God for direction when you don't know or trust Him, and how will you carry the presence of someone who doesn't know you? Come to Christ today, accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, and allow Him to make you successful both on earth and in heaven by giving you an eternal life. (John 3:16, John 10:10).

  2. Well said! The only way to success, good success, is Christ. And that demands accepting Him and having an enduring relationship and communion with Him. As advised, receive Him today as your Lord and Saviour.
