TRUST IN GOD

I found myself stuck in the chorus of Lauren Daigle's 'Trust in you' song.

When You don't move the mountains I'm needing You to move

When You don't part the waters I wish I could walk through

When You don't give the answers as I cry out to You

I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You.

What came to my mind was the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:16-18. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

God's power is unmatched. He can handle all things, whether physical or spiritual. Nothing is too challenging for Him (Jeremiah 13:27) and nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37). If He gives you the chance to face challenges, it's for a purpose. If He doesn't accept your prayers to alter the situation, just keep in mind that He might be trying to transform you. God will keep his promise of not leaving or forsaking you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Be rest assured that He will be with you in all circumstances: 'When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.’ Isaiah 43:2. His plans for you are positive and not negative, in order to provide you with a future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust Him, regardless of the circumstances, and in the end, everything will be fine and people will bow down to your God.
