FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN (5) ‘’THE PRINCE OF PEACE”

 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”. Isaiah 9:6

This is the last part of our series on "For unto us a child is born." During this lesson, we have covered many topics. And the government shall be upon His shoulder’ then ‘Wonderful counselor’ after which we looked into ‘Almighty God’ then Everlasting Father’ (It’s advisable to check all these if you haven’t)

Our focus today is on the Prince of Peace. The Hebrew word for peace is'shalom'. Judges 6:24 says And Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and named it Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”). The altar remains in Ophrah in the land of the clan of Abiezer to this day. Peace is impossible to find outside of Jesus Christ. Philipian 4:6-7 states, 'Don't fret about anything; instead, pray about everything.' Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Peace can be found in trusting God alone, as anyone who trusts an arm of flesh is in danger (Jeremiah 17:5). The peace that comes from God is beyond comprehension and causes others to wonder at you. If you're seeking peace, accepting Jesus is crucial. He is the answer to the world's problems, provided the world can seek Him. He is the only person who can give you the peace that allows you to sleep peacefully despite the storm. Accept Christ today, the one that God sent to redeem us, and let Him govern your life, counsel you, show Himself mighty on your behalf, become your everlasting father, and experience great peace. For unto us a Child is born and unto us a son is given.

THE HIJACKED LIFE

  The 9/11 attack, where two planes were hijacked and flown into the North and South Towers of The World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in both towers collapsing, remains one of the unforgettable occurrences in the world.   The attack was not planned by the original pilot of the plane, but it happened because some terrorist hijacked the plane from them. The Scripture mentions a demon-possessed man who lived in a tomb in Gadarenes. Despite being naked and unable to be held by a chain or shackles, it was discovered that an army of unclean spirits was inhabiting him. They are the ones controlling his life. YOU STILL HAVE ACT IT OUT (THE MARVELOUS JOURNEY)

After viewing the documentary on Giannis Sina Ugo Adetokumpo titled ‘ The Marvelous Journey ’ from Prime Video. I was reflecting on how he grew up in a slum in Greece and achieved success as a basketball player for  Milwaukee Bucks  in NBA and his country. I inquired with God, 'Have you composed all of that?', The answer was, "Yes, but you still have to execute it." I recalled the vigorous practice, workout, discipline, and deep love for God and his family. Having a script written for you by the producer is not enough; you must show up and perform your role. “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might” (Ecclesiastes 9 : 10). It's possible for you to be chosen to bring your family out of poverty, just like Giannis, or do some great things, but if you don't rise to the occasion. Someone else will be chosen by God.
